Things are going really well this season with many new faces and guests each week. It is hard to believe that we are at the closing of week #6 and that there are just 4 more weeks of our Summer American Plan.
We have implemented a lot of new activities into the riding program this year that have been very successful. Private and semi-private lessons with Colleen Wolfenson are a hit. She is a horsewoman who uses that Parrelli method to train horses and comes out to demonstrate and share this type of training.
We also have had a lot of happy guests with the roping clinics offered Mon. afternoons with Brett Mills, team roper and owner of Saddle Up tack store in Redmond. There will be other changes in our riding program with the season of 2008. I am always trying to keep things fresh and new for our staff and our guests.
I am planning on a relaxing fall with outside riding by reservation and 2 days off in a row. It seems that the fall comes quicker and quicker each year and I am guessing that that has to do with all the fun we have here in the summer.
Happy Trails and ride with JOY...... Heather Barklow
